Life Resource Service of Jackson County

Charter:
Life Resource Services of Jackson County (LRS) is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of resources designed to assist the homeless and less-fortunate individuals in Jackson County, Alabama. The purpose of LRS is to provide support for the community in order for families in our area to thrive.

Mission and Vision:
The mission of LRS is to help those struggling with homelessness, and less fortunate families, by providing resources to help rebuild their lives. Our vision is to provide vast resources across Jackson County in order to provide stability and structure for families.

Value Statements:

  • Stability - For mothers, fathers, children, and high-school-aged students in the community that are currently facing obstacles in their lives

  • Equality - We ensure that all clients will receive equal and ample opportunities to better themselves and their families, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or race

  • Prevention of Bullying - We believe in the importance of supporting under-privileged youth in order to spearhead the fight against bullying

  • High-Quality Resources - Our commitment to the county is to provide the highest quality of resources by partnering with other local organizations to ensure that our clients are receiving the best and most comprehensive support available
